Cora’s POV
I texted Mateo to see if he could meet us at the Lauder’s home tomorrow at noon. He asked if Ella could come with him, and I told him that it was fine. Mateo also told me that he would be getting my measurements for my maid of honor dress, and I smiled because their wedding was coming soon, and I was really looking forward to seeing them get married. They are so cute together and I am so glad that I kind of pushed them to date, and got them to know each other better because they truly are perfect for each other.
I went to the kitchen and saw Ava smiling at her phone and asked her who she was texting, and I already knew it was Jacob, one of the firemen from my “fan” club.
