Starting my first day is a bit overwhelming when I walk into my new office. There are three boxes on a table in what looks to be a meeting room to my right. To my left is an office with my name on the door. The office is bigger than my room in the house. These people didn’t do things halfway! The first office has a desk and phone, I guess for an assistant, when I look at the position of the chairs against one wall.
I’m a one-woman team and have no idea why they would give me this much space. Walking into my office, I put my things down. There are shelves on one side of the wall. Windows that look out on the property entrance and parking area. The furniture is so new that the chair is still covered in plastic.
