I walk through the front door and as I turn to walk through to the kitchen, Emile is standing right in front of me.
“Emile!!” I say out of breath.
“Sarah, how is it that you were kidnapped in the early morning hours and now return unharmed? I don’t understand. Do you have anything to tell me?” I shove past him, pretending to be agitated, in fact still trying to catch my breath. It had been a long forty-eight hours of planning between our offices, head office, and the local office. The tactical team was arriving tonight via the private jet owned by Anthony’s company. They are “clients” of the company. Investigations had been put into place to catch the officers on Emile’s payroll and the games were about to begin… I just wished I had some time to take a shower before all of this.
