Aaron glances at Paul at the same time that Paul looks back. They have been closer than brothers their entire lives and they always planned for their boys to be the same, but not everything can go to plan. Sometimes friendship can’t be forced. Since Paul and Miranda came to them with what actually caused Blake's separation, what caused the massive falling out and the reason behind why Blake would actually attack Vance in such a way, there has been tension sitting between the close friends.
Aaron is just stuck regretting his own words from when Blake was in the cell. Every word he says cuts deep now, the regret he feels, he talked about such drastic future actions when it was their son that caused the massive problem, theirs that caused the tension and caused the split to begin with.
