Thea hangs up the phone and places it face down on the desk. Facing Vance, obviously he knows the truth, she wasn’t exactly hiding it, it is just not something she likes to reveal about herself, it is not something she is proud of. Vance is looking at her like he caught her out in a lie.
But she answered all those questions truthfully. Once again, Vance waits for her to speak, but once again, he can only be disappointed. Thea keeps her silence, he just doesn’t understand how complicated her mind is right now, she feels like her time is up and she still has so much outstanding.
