Sam is dragged to the lockup, his eyes on Thea the whole time. There are six warriors around him and he could, if he really tried, he could get away, but to what end? His Alpha has Thea.
He knows whatever he does now. She will stop him, she is too good. Thea knows that he is trying to protect her, but she is always to protect everyone else.
His rationality has come back but he is scared. The big wolf that fears nothing is finally fearful. He can take the betrayal of his mate. He can take the near death experience, he can fight the alpha, his own alpha, without care, but this is so out of his depth. He needs Blake's logical brain to think of a way out of this because violence doesn't work. Sam has no other way.
