“ Hi baby, you're back," her sweet voice greeted me as soon as she saw me as a sweet scent drifted through my nose.
“ My love, what are you doing?" I asked as I walked towards the kitchen.
“ You're such a stubborn woman, you should be resting, not cooking," I said as I removed my jacket then folded my shirt sleeves.
“ What are you making?" I asked.
“ Pizza," She said as her eyes went to my exposed arms. Everything I do attracts this woman even when I was not trying.
“ How was your time at the park?" I asked hoping that she would tell me she met with her ex.
“ Was good…please pass me that plate,” She said and I looked at her without saying anything before passing her the plate she requested.
She didn't say anything.
She limped to the oven and brought out the pizza and I just watch
