Gosh, where did I begin? I thought I was doing the right thing by saving my grandson from a god-awful woman when I was no better than her. I was ready to accept anything that came my way, whether it be jail time or not, but what I couldn't accept was the fact that I might never get to know my grandson.
At first, when Jasmin and I started this whole thing 6 years ago, I'll admit I wanted Lara out of Tanner's life. I felt threatened by her. Tanner was all I had left, and I was selfish, so I let my fears of loneliness get in the way of my boys' happiness. I removed Lara from his life to keep my own secrets from getting out.
And look where that got me... I had more than enough chances to tell Tanner the truth about everything, but I didn't know Lara was going to show up again
