Office hours were over but we were still in the office. It was like Dane was punishing me for making us ‘almost’ late this morning. Though, of course, he would not admit it, but I know he was pissed off. Not only because of the tardiness, but his trusted secretary resigned without proper advice.
Jan was a model employee. She was all around, the person who was well-liked by everyone not because she’s the boss’ secretary, but she was really a charming person.
