It was a small relief that I knew the Greek restaurant that Erwin and I were going to. It was a famous establishment owned by a lovely old Greek couple, the Markopouloses, whom Lexi and I happened to meet twice when we dined there. They were no longer active in managing the business but would still visit the place from time to time.
From what I have gathered, there were a few businesses who wanted to buy their restaurant. However, they didn't want to let go of their precious food place. It held more sentimental value and their son had taken interest in managing the restaurant himself.
