The snow fell as the winter started, but my heart was still at a loss. I was here witnessing how the love of my life betrayed me by marrying another woman.
It was easy for him to decide without letting me know first; he just decided for the both of us...
He just let me believe in something, and he just walked away.
I was willing to fight a war for him, but he didn't take my hand. Instead, he chose the easiest way.
"Don't cry for that stupid dog." I didn't notice that my brother Gio was behind me.
"I can't; I love him," I said while sobbing as I watched the two of them make a vow to love each other. This is more painful than when he broke our bond.
"Why would the moon goddess choose that dog for you when so many vampires are willing to love you?" Gio said as he caressed my hair.
"That's also my question. 'All I want is love like our parents had, love that never ends,'" I said as I leaned towards him.
"This should end the relationship between the vampires and the werewolves. They should pay the price for what they have done to you. That i***t thinks that marrying that she-wolf they have for him will give them peace in exchange for your pain? They need to rethink again. If only Helios were here with us, I'm sure he'd go burn all of them alive," he said while he was looking at me tenderly.
I leaned at my brother again as I continued weeping silently as I watched the man I loved kiss another woman as a sign of their marriage ritual.
"Let's get out of here," Gio said as we vanished in thin air.
After we got home, I went straight to our palace, mine and Blue's. I saw my twin sister sharpening her knife.
"Did Gio go with you?" My twin sister asked coldly. I knew even though Blue seemed to be cold, I knew she was worried about me.
I hated Alec for taking my twin away from us and making her his killing machine, who was supposed to kill her whole family.
"Yes," I answered as I looked at her.
I couldn't read my twins' thoughts. I knew my mother was the only one who could read our minds, except for our brother Helios, who was not just a normal vampire prince but a God himself.
"I really wish I could just slit his throat for hurting you," Blue said, and I smiled a little.
"What about you, Blue?" I asked as I sat next to where she was sharpening her knives.
"What about me?" She asked, like with no emotions in her
I eyed her as if telling her I knew what was going on with her and Nicholas. "How about you tell me?" I asked softly as I crossed my arms.
My sister had been so secretive that she didn't open up to us wholeheartedly. I know she was struggling with something with Nicholas.
She was also struggling with the fact that Alec raised her killing things.
I can't read her mind, as Blue was always guarded; she may open up a little but that doesn't mean she tells them the whole truth.
"I don't have anything to say," she said as she looked away, avoiding my eyes.
"If you have a problem, you can always say it to me. we are family and we are twins," I said as I tapped her on her shoulder as I went to my room.

FLASHBACK~~~
"Where are we going?" I asked as Xerias pulled me behind the castle.
He kissed me on my lips, which I gladly accepted, as there was really nothing wrong about it; after all, he was my mate.
He already branded me as his, but we need to wait for everyone to settle, and besides, he was still not declared as an Alpha and he said we should wait for it.
We were both lying on the ground as I was lying my head on his lap while we were gazing at the stars together.
"If we get married, I want us to live in a small cottage where we can always find each other," I said as Xerias was caressing my hair.
"I want us to have many kids just like my mother and father." I continued as I looked at him, but I also noticed that Xerias
"What's wrong?" I asked as I looked at him.
Why is he acting like this when a while ago we were kissing each other like there's no tomorrow?
"There's something I need to tell you..." he said as he looked at me, but what I didn't expect is how cold his eyes are when they were looking at mine.
"What was it?" I said as I sat up from the grass where I was lying.
I don't know why but I am feeling something is really off.
Xerias stood up and glared at me.
"I am getting tired of this," he said as he glared at me.
"What do you mean you are getting tired of what?" I asked as I looked at him while I was frowning.
"This... You are my mate, but sometimes I feel we are wrong..." he said as he looked at me.
"You know how much I wanted to become the Alpha after Simeone was gone, and yet... the council won't accept us... they won't accept someone like you..." he said coldly.
"What do you mean by someone like me?" I asked as I also stood to level his eyes.
"You are vampire and I am a werewolf. this maybe the moon goddess just made a mistake by making you as my mate..." he said as he looked at me.
"But I thought you loved me?" I said but I could feel the anger in my chest.
"Love? I only said that in order to get into your skirt, but even though we already bonded, you still wouldn't let me touch you beyond what we were always doing," he said as he snorted. "And besides, I was simply using you for my people to stay here," he said as he looked away as if I am the dirtiest creature he had ever seen.
"And besides, the council already said that they have chosen a bride for me when we got home to our own kingdom," he said as he put his hand inside his pocket.
"What do you mean you already have a bride?" I said as I looked at him angrily.
"Yeah, the council already chose someone for me," he said like it was nothing.
"What about me?" I asked as I pointed at myself.
"What about you? Oh, maybe I could ask them if I could make you my second wife, but that will happen after my luna gives birth to our heir, and besides, you are still my real mate even if we broke the bond; my wolf will still know who you are," he said as he took a step closer to me.
"You will agree on it, right? Just like what you said, you love me so much, and being my second wife was the best choice for all of us, maybe I could love you or maybe I could love you right," He said as he caressed my face.
"Second wife? Are you mocking me?" I said as I slapped his hands from my face. he was a little surprised at what I did but it was only for a second.
"I am not going to be your second wife, Abanoon and Alex will be in hellfire, but that won't happen," I said as I looked at him angrily before I teleported myself back inside my room.
End of Flashbacks~~~~
I was back to the present when I heard some knocks from the door and there I saw Blue, who had some wine with her.
"I can't sleep," she said as she gave me some glass of wine, which I gladly accepted, as I also can't sleep.
"Are you sure you're okay?" I asked as I looked at her while I drank the wine from my glass.
"I should be the one asking you that..." she said as she also drank her own drink.
"Gio and I were worried about you after that bastard betrayed you," Blue said as she was talking about Xerias.
"How dare those dogs hurt us and choose another woman?" I said, which made Blue look at me like she was surprised to know that I know what happened between him and Xerias.
"They are the worst. How can they be our mate when they can't do better? I mean, look at Xerias he married another woman after saying he didn't really love me, and what worst? He asked me to be his second wife," I said as tears streamed down my face, still feeling the betrayal that he made.
"Yes, put Nicholas on. He couldn't accept me as his mate as he was still in love with his first mate. What am I, a replacement? Why does the moon goddess choose those bastards to be our mate?" Blue said as her tears were also streaming down her face.
They were both rejected by their mate, but what worst is she already bonded with him.
They talked about a lot of things that evening while they were comforted by some wine and each other.
