Red woke up feeling pain all over her body, but she didn't mind it, as her heart seemed to be numb at the moment. She looked beside her and she saw her twin sister was also sleeping there.
She sighed as she knew that she wasn't the only one who was feeling hurt at the moment and yet, she became selfish and didn't even think about her sister, who was also hurting.
I tried to stand up again, but the pain is so painful that no matter how numb I was feeling inside, my body still can't take it.
While I was asleep, I was dreaming about me and Xerias, and how he betrayed and abandoned me.
I sighed again as I went back to the bed and lay there beside Blue, who was still sleeping.
"Are you sure she's alright?" I heard some voices inside my room, and it seems like I fell asleep again and I didn't know how long I was sleeping.
"Yes, she's fine. It's just that her body was tired as well as her brain; that's why she needed to take some rest," I heard an unfamiliar voice say, and I opened my eyes and saw my family with a woman who was looking at us.
"You're awake," My mother said when she noticed that I was awake.
I looked beside me and saw Blue was still there and was still sleeping.
"Mother, Father..." I said in a hoarse voice. my throat feels really dry, and I feel very thirsty.
"Red..." Father said and I saw him look at me with tenderness in his eyes.
"You're awake..." I looked beside me and saw Blue, who had just woken up as she was still yawning beside me.
I just nodded at her and smiled a little.
"You both should eat. We know that you are both hungry now," Mother said as she caressed mine and Blue's hair.
Mother's hand was warm, even though we were vampires and our skins are cold, but somehow mother's hands were always warm.
A servant brought us some food, and Blue and I ate while our family was watching us.
After we finished eating food, mother and father with Gio, made sure that we were both fine before they left my room.
"Red, I am going somewhere." I looked at Blue and saw sadness in her eyes.
"Where are you going?" I asked as I looked at her.
"I am going to travel somewhere," she said as she didn't answer my question of where she is going.
"Are you leaving because of Nicholas?" I asked as I felt anger towards the wolves.
"No, I am leaving for myself. I wanted to find what I want to do, and I want to find myself..." she said, which made me stare at her.
"I'll go with you," I said as I looked at her and held her hand.
"No. Mother and Father, as well as Gio, will need you here," she said as she shook her head at me.
I just nodded as I knew she was right, but also I knew Mother and Father could manage on their own, as they were used to them traveling anywhere.
I looked at her and just shrugged at everything.
-----------
I slept at night peacefully as my body felt really tired. I looked at the window and saw that it was morning.
I took a bath and went downstairs when I saw the maids were panicking.
"What's wrong?" I asked as I frowned at them.
They bowed their heads when they saw me and they looked scared or worried.
"Your Highness... Her Highness Blue was missing..." One of the maids said, which made me stop moving.
I know Nicholas was still staying here in the palace as a guest, while Xerias had already gone to his homeland and married his wife now.
She still can't believe the betrayal he did and the way he said to her that everything they had, he faked.
I rushed to where that stupid dog was staying.
Is his face that thick to still stay here after he broke her sister's heart and attended his traitor friend's wedding?
But then I stopped...
The reason why Blue left is because she wanted to think and find herself. If she let her emotions rule her and attacked Nicholas, he would probably know that her sister was missing.
So, no.
They don't deserve them.
I teleported myself to my parents palace and saw them in the dining room. It seems like they just finished eating their own breakfast.
"Father, Mother." I greeted as I give them a peck on their cheeks.
"What was it Red?" Her mother asked as it seems like she already expected her to say something.
"Blue is missing." I said as I sighed at them.
I saw my mother surprised at what I said.
"Where did she go?" she asked as she stared at me.
"Where did she go?" she asked as she stared at me.
"I don't know, mother, she just said the last time we talked she wanted to find herself," she said as she looked at me while frowning.
"I wanted to come with her, but she didn't want me to leave you..." I said as I sighed in sadness that I am feeling.
It feels like my heart has been tearing inside.
Ever since they entangled themselves with the wolves, everything has been in chaos, well, except for Selenesee, who was the only thing that was right that happened ever since they allied with the wolves and took them in as refugees during the war.
Funny how their kingdom took them in, and yet some of them bit the hands of the one who fed them the moment the peace happened.
I smiled bitterly at the thought.
I could never forgive them for doing this to us and me...
All I wanted was the kind of love that my parents have, and yet they stole it and toyed with my feelings.
"We will find your twin, no worries," Mother said as she held my hand while father was just looking at us as his jaw clenched.
"You should have a rest too, Red," Father said and I frowned at what he said. why do they want me to rest when I had rested yesterday?
"Because you need it." I looked at him and sighed.
Why did I forget for a second that my parents could read our minds? Only Helios could block them out from his own mind.
I just nodded as I teleported myself back to our own palace.
I lay in my bed and closed my eyes, hoping that wherever she was, she was fine.
The days goes by and I didn't know why we still couldn't find Blue.
I looked at the sword that I was holding as I was practicing swordsmanship in my own yard in our palace.
I looked around and saw that the maids were talking and I listened to what they were talking about.
"Have you heard?" one of the maids said as she was talking to the others.
"Heard what?" said one of the oldest of them as she was frowning at the other maids.
"That Alpha Xerias and his luna was already expecting their own child..." she said, which made me stiffen.
It feels like something heavy falls on me.
He is having a child....
It seems like it was really over and she should move on as he did.
But why does it still hurt her?
It hurts her inside like she has been stabbed straight in her heart.
He's having his own child like he had dreamed with her...
I looked at my hand when I suddenly felt something wet, and when I saw what it was, it was my own tears streaming down my face.
"How dare he marry someone when he was so sweet with her highness and then the next thing we knew, he married another woman?" one of the maids angrily said.
Red didn't want to hear anything anymore and decided to teleport herself back to her own room.
She cried the whole day inside her room, with nothing but darkness.
She wished Blue was here for her so that she had someone she could lean on, she wished Helios hadn't left them and she wished Gio was also there.
Red knew that if her father learned about this, he would attack the wolves' kingdom, which she didn't want to happen, as it was only
Xerias and Nicholas who had wronged them, and the others were innocent.
I looked at the moon again as I was crying. I decided I will find Blue and will definitely leave to find myself too.
I gathered some food and some of my clothes inside a backpack and sighed as I looked at the moon again.
I didn't know that loving someone could hurt like this; if she knew, she'd wish she never did ask for it.
All I want was to be loved like how my father worshipped my mother, and yet all I get was pain.
And betrayal from the man I loved.
I sighed as I took the quill and paper and started writing a letter for mother and father.
After I finished, I folded it and put it on the table beside my bed before I teleported myself somewhere...
