“Xel teleported back to the pack house, Jax”, Mom informed me as she came out of the ward room. “She found the smell of some fatty chemicals here repulsive and had to rush off back to her room”, she worriedly added. “Take care of her, son”, she said before hugging me fondly and going back to her office.
“Alrighty new daddy. You heard the old woman. Now chop chop. Your twins’ mother needs you”, Kai said while clapping his hands as if I was his f*****g pet dog.
I don’t think people talk to their dogs like that too.
Ughh.
