My eyes drifted blankly across the walls of my luxurious prison, my mind heavy with thoughts of my mates. I missed them so much it hurt, the ache in my chest deepening with every day that passed. I wanted nothing more than to see them, to feel their warmth wrapped around me, to feel safe again.
But I was stuck here, a prisoner of the alpha who had taken me. I had tried to find a way out, but every door was locked, every window sealed shut. I was completely at his mercy, left with nothing to do but wait for him to return.
