AE's POV…
I am now piling up the dishes that I was done washing when Austin slowly approached me.
"AE." he said. "We need to talk."
I closed my eyes and sighed.
"You have to break up with Ali." Austin continued.
"Austin…this is not the right time to talk about this…" I answered and wiped my hands as I finished washing the dishes. Alitha went to bathe Neshama as we are supposed to go to the hospital today.
"But you see. This is very important. I talked to-" Austin said but I cut him off.
"Stop." I interrupted. "I am not yet ready for any of this, Austin. Neshama will be having her treatments, and so I don’t wanna talk about my problems with Ali and then-"
"But we’ll talk about it later, right?" he asked again with wide eyes, interrupting me from blurting out random stuff.
