“I’M JUST going to let him know,” Minah told Paul, leaving him by the lanai as she spotted Asher getting ready for work.
Since he was already heading her way, she didn’t need to rush over to him.
“I need to tell you something,” Minah said as soon as she reached Asher.
“What is it?”
She took a deep breath. “Is it okay if I go out? Paul wants to visit my parents before he leaves the day after tomorrow.”
“Sure. It’s up to you,” Asher replied quickly. “I’m heading out too. Are you sure you’re feeling up for it?”
Compared to yesterday, she felt much better. She could probably run without feeling any pain now.
“Yeah.”
“Alright, I’m off.”
“O-okay.”
