Hazel firmly objected as she watched Ethan help Ivy on her feet. It's been close to five years and nothing had changed, nothing like the absurd changes of Ivy feigning a fall after causing her harm and Ethan fully believing that she was in the wrong and not Ivy.
In the past she would acquiesce and apologize when she hadn't done anything, but today everything was different. She didn't come back to be trampled over and over again, but to trample those who trampled her in the past.
Her intentions weren't clear in Ethan's eyes but he could perceive anger and persistence in her eyes. Though arrogant, but it made her rebellious beauty, perharps a poisonous one.
