As I step out of the room, I meet Lauren standing not so far from my door, holding Rayge who seems to be sleeping like always in her arms. He's wearing a sky blue pyjamas and a matching blue beanie covering his head. He is carefully wrapped in a white cotton towel to prevent too much air from getting in. She walks to me and hand him over to me and although he purr in response to the exchange of hands, he continues sleeping.
Holding him securely in my arms, I make my way down the stairs, along side Lauren and Ava.
