Climbing down to the hot springs was not as easy as it sounded. We had to zig-zag our way along the croppings of rocks. Some of the ledges were barely wide enough for one person to pass, so it made sense that we had to leave the panthera.
The steaming water made the air thick as we descended. About halfway down, Fifi pointed out a very small hole that was supposed to be the entrance to Renos’s home. It seemed like an odd place to put the entrance to any type of dwelling.
Things made more sense as we finally reached the bottom of the valley. The steaming pools of water smelled no better up close, but the small hole was actually not very small at all.
