My hands shook as the familiar wet smell filled my lungs. My armor felt heavier than it used to. Rocks and moss and cold and dark. Nothing like the wolfies’ home. My nerves made me shaky. I didn’t want to come back with the fire in my belly. Father was already going to be irritated since he sent Vilairus after me.
My wolfies and witchy gasped. They all fell to the ground, and I winced. I forgot to tell them to brace themselves. They weren’t used to jumping so far to get to another realm. The closest realm to them was like one step. My realm was more like a big leap. They all started whispering to themselves and pointing at each other.
