Lindsay brought Caroline over to the bed, where she cuddled up to his chest, attempting to hear his heart beat. Darcy was placed in the bed, and Dakota was placed close to his sister. Dakota drew his sister up close and she instantly settled on his chest, going to listen to his rate and heart. Dakota resisted sleep as he kept an eye on David and Dylan, hoping they wouldn't damage his sister. "It's all right, bud, get some rest; we'll keep you both safe," Daniel reassured his youngest son, who gently closed his eyes and drifted out.
Danny and Mitchel were both watching them sleep. Daniel couldn't resist taking another picture of the twins.
Alexander took the other bed and Daniel sat close to the twins, both falling asleep immediately.
