CHAPTER TWENTY-TWO RHETT Day three of marriage and I was very much surprised I hadn’t poisoned my own food out of sheer distaste of living with Freya under the same roof. There were certainly worse things than the storm supposed to descend upon the city in three days. For starters, it had been a hell of a whole f*****g day. My father was convinced I was not moving fast enough or in his precise words, ‘Not being a man enough’ to convinced my forced wife to have her brother sign the loyalty pact. But he didn’t know Freya like I did. There has never been a woman more stubborn than Freya, especially now that she was very much aware of how much power she possessed over the werewolves.
