TALIA POV.
I sat on my ass where I landed and glared at the shadow figure that came out of the forest. “What the hell Jack?” I snarled. Jack stopped a few feet from me and returned the same glare on me. “Don’t even think about leaving Talia.” Jack said sternly. I sighed. I didn’t have the strength for this. I got up and tried to step around him, but he grabbed my arm and flung me towards the packhouse again. I landed with another hard thud with my face against the ground. Before I could get up, Jack grabbed me by the back of my jacket and hoisted me up and put me back on my feet, facing him and holding onto my arms. “You are many things Talia, but a coward is not one of them so don’t turn into one now.” He snarled.
