I was already awake. Even before the sun rose from behind the trees so it was a rare treat to find myself once again sitting where I sat last night and watching the sun break to awaken and welcome the new day. My fingers rubbed over the details of the craft of the necklace. I didn’t know why but it felt soothing, and I liked it. My thoughts were full of the past few day’s events.
