We reached the garden and the members who were there immediately vacated the place as soon as they saw us. There was this meaningful grin on their faces as they walk away from the garden, stealing glances at us, especially in our intertwined hands. Caelan pulled me near the pond and made me sit in a bench under the tree. He sat beside me, smiling.
“What brought you here?” I asked casually. I can now drop the honorific and courtesy since no one is around; and because he does not personally prefer me to call him with those. “You should be getting ready by now about the ranking of the celestial seats holder,” I added.
