Sera grew more worried with every passing hour.
Someone was out there wanting her girls dead. From the sounds of what Lucy was saying, someone is wanting them dead dead. The thought of rebirthing them was always dreadful, but the thought of never getting to rebirth them again was worse.
She’s been mentally kicking herself since she found out. Maybe if she’d taught the girls their magic all of their lives, they’d be better prepared to handle this situation. Sera wasn’t so sure they’d be able to fight off someone magical in their current state of ignorance.
Since the girls had no idea how to use their magic, let alone control it, she had to do everything she could just to make sure she’d get to have them again one day.
