"Oh, it's you," Valeria breathed a sigh of relief.
Liam was standing inside the room, "They sent me to check if everything was fine here," his eyebrows creased as he noticed the presence of only Valeria and me in the room.
"Astrid and Lily went outside to practice magic," I answered his question.
"Did he say anything?" asked Valeria.
"No, he is just sitting silently with a smile as if mocking us."
I stared silently at the burning candle in the middle of the room, it was the reminder of how fast the time was running out of our hands.
I put the cloak back on, "I am going there, Liam, stay here with Valeria."
He shook his hand and was about to open his mouth before I cut him off, "No one will see me, we do not have time, Liam," I repeated more urgently.
