Gabriel’s POV
I sent the injured maid to the medical room while I went to the garden to inspect the way Olivia escaped. The guards who were assigned to be her bodyguards were shaking with terror. They knew very well that something terrible would happen to them, more than what they imagined would. All of them were aware that I had killed a who*e who talked against Olivia, so, they were terrified of what was going to happen to them.
Olivia escaped after hitting the maid’s head with a rock, making her unconscious. The guards took her usual stroll to the gardens lightly, which is why it didn’t occur to them to provide her security in the evening. The maid was on the ground, unconscious for more than fifteen minutes until she was finally spotted by the guards.
