Gabriel’s POV
It was clear. Someone definitely wanted to kill us and I knew that it couldn’t be anyone else but Red Umbrella. Unfortunately, I couldn’t move with the f*cking machines attached to me and more importantly, I knew I had to warn Olivia. My baby was in danger and they were trying to kill her, knowing well that she was my weak point.
“Olivia!” I whispered sharply in the dark room, but there was no response.
“Nick? Olivia? Is anyone here?” I whispered again and this time, the person with the dagger stopped for a while. He could hear my whispers loud and clear through the pin-drop silent room. The last thing I remembered before I fell asleep was that Olivia was with me. Usually, she would snore lightly in her sleep, but I couldn’t even hear that in the room.
