DAISY The rest of the night I had to spend tossing and turning on my pillow, the light was on the whole time until sunrise. It was like I am afraid to fall asleep. I couldn't block away from the repeated cries and plead of Kay's screams which had made a home in my head all night that by morning I have even worst eye bags, I have to cover with makeup to appear less zombie-like. "I-I heard KC last night, I hope he is okay?" I disassemble a nonchalant face when Riley hands me a mug of black coffee and sit opposite side of the kitchen table. "He would be. I'm sorry you had to hear that." She sadly apologized like it's my place and they're invading. "No is okay, I was just worried about you guys." Riley clears her throat, her index finger circling the edge of the cup when she begins.
