Bella turned her head and looked at him funny, "Don't you want to see Charles’s sad expression after my death?"
"Why should I see Charles's sadness after you die?" Nick put one arm on the window frame, looked at her sideways, and laughed very lightly. "I can see it now."
Bella's heart hurt, and her body twitched. She covered her chest and asked softly, "Did he ever find you?"
Nick helped her, "We have twenty days to talk in detail, now you eat first."
He snapped his fingers, and Jack came in with the dinner plate.
