“Oh my God.”
I wasn’t sure who whispered it as a reaction. I heard them gasp as well. I could not think of anyone and anything else the moment my eyes landed on the person, lying on a bed helplessly. I felt so numb. The tips of my fingers… I could not feel them. The g*n that I was holding fell on the floor with a thud that echoed deafeningly. Heart so heavy, the tears would not stop falling and rolling down my face. I felt so weak.
