Sapphire
“I’ll take a day off today. Allison and I will take Storm to the barber shop.” These words came out of my mouth the moment he walked into the kitchen. I was setting up the dining table and serving breakfast with some scrambled eggs and toasts. He was already showered and dressed in his office clothes when he got down. Storm and I on the other hand were still in our pajamas. We woke up together and went down to the kitchen right away to cook breakfast.
“Daddy, let’s eat.” Storm grinned at his father. He was already seated at the table.
“Sure.” He said while looking at me. I was not sure if he was talking about me deciding to take the day off or about Storm inviting him to eat. Anyway, he sat on the chair beside Storm and opposite me.
