God, Sergeant Reyes, you have no idea how long I've wanted this, I whispered, my voice coming out all husky and low as I pushed my body right up against his in that dim storage room.
Oh, I'm Elena, the daughter of General Harlan, the tough commander who runs this whole military base like it's his own private empire.
I've grown up surrounded by soldiers just like Reyes, all tall and muscled with that rough edge from endless drills and deployments.
But Reyes stands out to me, with his dark hair cut short, those tattoos showing just a bit from under his uniform sleeves, and eyes that burn right into me when he looks my way.
