"Okay, Mr. Thompson, come on in and have a seat," I said, gesturing to the chair across from my desk in the exam room.
I'm Dr. Elena Ramirez, and I had been seeing patients all morning at the clinic, but this one caught my eye right away. Marcus Thompson, thirty-two years old, tall with broad shoulders and a nervous look on his face as he walked in wearing jeans and a button-up shirt.
