NEER'S POV
flashback continues.....
i woke up with the sudden loud noise. I hurriedly got off the couch i was sleeping on, only to see the girl waking up in hysterics.My eyes went off to the side table and realized that the jug had been shattered and all if it's glass pieces lied there on the floor.I wasn't sure if she had seen me, it felt like she was still struggling with the surrounding.
I called rytasha and fortunately she came just as the young girl looked at me, knowing very well that the trauma that she must have went through might trigger her with our presence so we stayed where we were. We still expected her to scream in terror since we were complete strangers but it was more shocking and heartbreaking to see her bowing her head down in front of us and constantly saying sorry.
