As soon as I get Penny dressed, I head to Savvy's apartment. I smile when she opens the door, and she is wearing an overall shorts with a tank top. She is tiny compared to me, which is crazy because I'm only five-foot-five. That's why Manny insists I wear such high heels. I shake thoughts of him and the club out of mind. I want to feel normal for at least a few hours. I'm not ashamed of doing what I have to in order to provide for my daughter, but I know what people say about strippers.
