The sun shining through my bedroom window warms my face. It's unusual for me to forget my darkening curtains, but my mind was reeling after my conversation with Dante. When he dropped me off, he pressed another soft kiss on my lips after he walked me to my apartment. It's been a long time since I felt the feeling of butterflies in my belly, but this feels so different from when I felt them with Gary.
Once I stretch, I head to check on Penny who is still sound asleep. I decide to take a quick shower before Dante arrives. He asked if he could spend the day with me and Penny today.
