PROLOGUE part 3: the Burning Question

The good news is they are dead. I have met some awesome friends along the way. I no longer have legal troubles. I have formed my own secret pack called the MAVERICK PACK. I recently purchased land and all the supplies to maintain our secret location. I know it was nothing but fate that connected me to each one of my pack members. I still have a crush on Alpha Mason of the Crescent Moon Pack, and he is still feeling me too.
Rio —He was the first person I met that first night on the run. Rio is an Omega. I just recently discovered that he is my biological Uncle. Unfortunately, Rio spent most of his life as a tortured male s*x slave. Alpha Skyh and Prince Achileas-Andreas were both using Dark Magic on their fate mates. Alpha Skyh was one of Alpha Nat's sons in the Blackwood Pack. They were already on my kill list, so finding out that he was f*****g with my boy only speeded up his death.
Nafessa- Fate mate was Bryshere, another of Alpha Nat's horrible sons. We killed him, too. But not before they chased Nafessa out of the Blackwood Pack. She literally had to jump into the river to get away from them. That's how she met Aquaria, who is a mermaid princess and running away from an arranged marriage.
Aquaria agreed to help her find me and her missing father, Elton Elrich Moore, formally Head Warrior of the Blackwood pack. We found her father. He was banished for helping me and speaking out against the abuse I was suffering.
However, we barely made it out alive when we had to face watermen and waterwomen trying to get Aquaria back. Luckily, Nafessa has found her second chance mate, the future Alpha Lance of the Brown River Pack. Aquaria has found her fate mate in his Uncle Graham. Alpha Graham has very loyal best friend and Beta named Carter.
Patrice — We ran into Patrice and her Asian friend, Min Li Chan, on NYU campus. They shared their stories with us. We instantly bonded. Patrice Evelynn Greyback and Min Li Chan wanted to be faraway from their toxic families.
In addition, we discovered that Min Li Chan of the Chan Clan, the protectors of the ancient Golden Dragons. Min Li Chan is like some Ninja Assassin that protects Chinese Dragons. s**t! I didn't even know dragons still f*****g existed. Min Li Chan just wanted to live a life free to make her own choices and follow her own path.
I am a good judge of character. I believe them. I especially believe Patrice Evelynn Greyback of the Druid Peak Pack when she admitted that her cruel fate mate was none other than Prince Achileas-Andreas. The Alpha King Julian Evan Windsor, only son and heir to the throne. Patrice admitted to never actually accepted his rejection out of fear and loyalty. Prince Achileas-Andreas was using their matebond to taunt her.
Nevertheless, I was able to contact the Alpha King to put a stop to the use of Black Magic. However, I still need to help them, and it's still on my list of things to do. Everything has just been happening so fast.
Misa — She is the youngest. Her former pack, the Trinity River Pack, along with her family, were killed in a rogue attack that was orchestrated by her former Alpha Titus Bane' and his corrupt friends. Alpha Cane Baker of the White Howlers, Alpha Horace of the Phoenix Moon Pack, Alpha Henry of the Cyrus Mountain Pack and Alpha Titus Bane of the Trinity River Pack are not good men and I didn't get good vibes from them during my facade of a trial.
They are out to silence her for good. Misa wanted to go be with the only remaining family she had left in the Red Claw Pack.
Therefore, I sent her to be with her Aunt Gail and Uncle Steadman, who was the Gamma of the Red Claw Pack. Only to discover that Misa is Alpha Sebastian's fate mate and that his little sister, Kristen and her little minions, are plotting against one of my best friends and that is simply unacceptable.
The bad news is my father, Tristian Beckington, has escaped from prison and is looking for me. Plus, I have somehow pissed more people off, and they wanted me dead. I have a new set of enemies. So, I am still on the run.
I am still running from the Alpha King Julian Evan Windsor, and Elder Kylian. Honestly, I don't think they can do a better job at protecting me than me. I am not impressed with the Alpha King abilities or his knowledge of what's going on around him. I mean the majority of the time, I know more than him. I am updating him.
I finally met my fate mate, future Alpha Terrence of the Douglass Pack, but he is in love with his childhood sweetheart, another she-wolf named Giselle. They promised each other they would reject their fate mate for each other no matter what.
As a result, I might not have Luna Olivia of the Brown River Pack and her mate is Alpha Rory, along with the Douglass Pack's Alpha Terry as allies for long because of this love triangle.

CHAPTER ONE: NO FORGIVENESS

"Please Stormy! Think of the consequences of your actions. My father used to tell me as a little pup: There are two things a person should never be angry at; what they can help and what they cannot. Don't be so quick to anger that you burn bridges. Please my young friend!!" expressed Alpha Rory in desperation as the surrounding air grew tense. Giselle started to snivel, looking sad and stunned.
"Don't Stormy! Don't kill them! Show them mercy!! Please! Please! You are better than your father! The weak can never forgive. Forgiveness is the attribute of the strong." pleaded Luna Olivia, as Nafessa and Aquaria shared a look and went to stand beside their friend and leader without any hesitation.
Suddenly, Stormy started laughing for no reason, and it became eerily quiet for a few minutes. Giselle shed tears.
"Say the word either way! I am with it!!" growled an angry Keith, one of Stormy's trusted warriors, causing Alpha Terry and Alpha Terrence to growl back at him. Resulting in aggravated Nafessa and Stormy growling back at them. Alpha Graham and Beta Carter mindlinked each other and shared a look as they moved closer to Aquaria.
"Stormy, please don't kill my godson! Calm down! I know you are hurt and have every right to be in this situation." begged a distressed Alpha Rory as Alpha Terrence's wolf, Jordan, tried hard to annoy the pull towards Stormy and comfort Giselle.
Stormy smirked and quickly asked her wolf, Precious, "Are you okay? What do you want to do?"
"That weak fake b***h! He can have her! Besides, his ass is not as cute as Alpha Mason! I want to go find Alpha Mason! His damn wolf isn't even loyal or impressive. The Moon Goddess didn't pick us a good one at all. f**k him!" grumped Precious, her wolf.
"You sure you want to reject him!" questioned a peeved Stormy.
"Hell, yeah! Next and I am so not that mad about the bullshit!!!" confessed vexed Precious.
"f**k! f**k! Ladies, I don't need more gray hair! Let's please not do anything that we might regret later. Let's just leave and grab some food on the road. We can revisit this dilemma in a few days. For now, let's step back. We should leave with no bloodshed." suggested a riled-up Beta Carter.
Stormy, Aquaria and Nafessa looked at him and laughed.
After that, future Alpha Lance said," I think that's a great idea. I will go with you ladies to help protect my mate and my parents will remain in charge till we can resolve everything. Right now, not killing my stupid best friend is at the top of the list. I will owe you a huge favor, Alpha Stormy, if you show him and her mercy."
"Alpha?" murmured Luna Michelle, looking puzzled at her mate Alpha Terry and at Luna Olivia.
"Alpha?! I don't understand!" asked Giselle, confused and wiping away her tears.
"Don't worry about it! It's not any of your damn concern!" snapped Aquaria, mad, causing the two ladies to growl at her.
"I will not be disrespected by a damn human!" whined Giselle, annoyed.
"You are in a pack full of wolves. I would be careful human." squawked an irate Luna Michelle and her wolf, Amythest, as Alpha Graham and Beta Carter growled at them.
"Don't overstep because I will f**k both of y'all asses up over this human. Trust me! You don't want these problems. Don't get it twisted! We are not the same! We boil at different degrees!!" shouted an indignant Nafessa. Alpha Terry and future Alpha Terrence and Alpha Lance quickly stood protectively in front of their she-wolves.
" Alpha Terry, I would advise your Luna and future Luna not to disrespect my mate, or I will see it as a personal insult and attack on me." growled Alpha Graham.
"She is your mate." uttered Luna Michelle, looking perturbed and fearful.
"Yes she is!" answered Alpha Graham in a stern voice.
"I am so sorry! I did not know... We are both sorry! It will never happen again! I would like to say...." said Luna Michelle on edge before Alpha Graham cut her off in frustration.
"Well! If we are voting, I vote you reject him, since young Alpha Terrence couldn't be bothered waiting for you. I refuse to be a hypocrite. People want to kill my mate for not going along with tradition in her world. I know you might argue that it's different, but it's really not. He has a right to live his life the way he sees fit." argued Alpha Graham, concerned causing Nafessa and Aquaria to nod in agreement.
"What? I don't understand!" voiced Luna Olivia. They ignored her.
"Well, if it matters, I am team #Alpha Mason. What would it hurt to let him slowly die from watching you be happy with someone else? Either way, I am with you." declared Nafessa confidently, and you could tell Nafessa was mindlinking with her mate, future Alpha Lance.
"Alpha Mason! That manwhore? You have been entertaining him?" yelled a furious Alpha Terrence.
"Alpha Mason or wait for your second chance mate. I think the second chance mate is the better deal. For the record, I don't agree with killing a muthafucker just because they don't want you. He has the right not to want to build a life with you just because the Moon Goddess picked you for him. He didn't pick you and I know it hurts. However, you are stronger than Alpha Terrence. You deserve someone that can be your equal, not a liability. Think about your responsibility to the pack and to Misa. They need you to keep your head in the game and stay calculating and intentional. Besides, you have the right to reject his weak and unloyal ass. Then, become his biggest regret. As his pathetic ass watches on the sidelines as someone else has the wonderful, prosperous and passionate life with you that should have been his. I am just saying...... "voiced Aquaria, cool, calm and collected.
"What the HELL? I AM NO ONE'S LIABILITY!!!" shouted Alpha Terrence, fuming.
Hearing her words, Stormy lowered her weapon and gave it to Keith. After that, she mindlinked Keith to get everyone back in the vehicles.
