The city glowed with neon veins, casting a strange, electric light over towering buildings that scraped the sky. Holographic advertisements danced across windows while streams of fog curled through alleyways like rivers of light. Above, drones drifted lazily, their shadows weaving patterns on the streets below, creating an endless maze of pulsing, glowing reflections.
The further Stormy got from New York City, the more pissed off she became as Beta Donny updated her. She still couldn't wake up her sleeping wolf. The R& B hit song "Soldier" played on the radio inside the vehicle. They were headed to the Maverick Pack located at Zodiac Ranch in Connecticut.
