Conrad's POV
I reach my pack faster than ever. And Flynn is just staring at me. To everyone, it indeed must look like I just sent Shane one a suicide mission. To be honest, I am now thinking the same.
"We are getting him back" I say but Flynn doesn't say anything except, a stern nod.
The connection we have with Shane is lost. That is how we all knew he was a hostage at a place wherever I sent him. Maybe all these three days they tried to figure out the connection we had.
This is something we all did when Emmaline was accepted into our pack. She said the most strength lies in Unity. So she came up with a spell that binds us all together. And when one member dies, the connection is lost. But with Shane it's different. The connection is barely there. He is not dead.
