Sunday evening arrives despite my best wishes that it stay away. It's beautiful weather compared to yesterday—bright, cloudless, sunny. How it looks outside is misleading, however; it's very windy and cold. Each day it feels less like summer and more like autumn. I'm getting mixed emotions. Autumn is my favorite time of year but its sojourn means that I have been in Seth's pack for what will become two seasons. Although I showered in the morning, I shower again in the evening to calm my nerves. The hot water helps but it's more a placebo than an actual fix. As soon as I step out of the shower my nerves return tenfold. I wrap myself in a towel and sit against the edge of the bathtub until I'm ready to stand, then I dress.
