Shhhh…a voice whispered into her ear as hands came around to clamp down on her mouth, and squeeze her throat so that she could make a sound. Her breath hitched in her throat as her entire body froze. She looked at the door she walked through, leading to the stairs. The door swung shut, leaving her with the man who was breathing hard in her ear. “I’ve been waiting for you. And you came to me. I guess tonight is my lucky day,” he said as he moved his hand away from her throat. Larissa screamed, but his hand muffled the sound. “Don’t do that,” he said in an angry hiss. He turned her around so fast, she felt dizzy. The man stared down at her. His eyes were wide in a maniacal way that sent chills down her spine. No. No. No…this can’t be happening. God, why did she walk through that door?
