McKenna woke up. . . Still in hospital. . . Guess it wasn't just a bad dream. McKenna thought to herself. Alpha Azeo was sitting next to her bed , peacefully sleeping with his arms crossed. He definitely had better days. He even looks tired while sleeping , which is odd because it has only been one night. McKenna feels so tempted to touch him again. She just wants to feel the sparks again. It must be the mate bond. McKenna thought to herself. Even if she wants to deny and reject this mate bond with all her heart. . . She just can't. . . It really is proving to be difficult. Plus Mckayla was right , he is their best option to surviving this whole ordeal. Maybe he does have feelings for me? McKenna thought to herself. McKenna don't be silly , you barely know each other. She said to herself. Great , now I'm talking to myself. McKenna thought to herself. ' At least your not talking to yourself out loud. ' McKenna's wolf giggles. ' Oh great , you're also here. ' McKenna said to her wolf annoyed. ' Where else would I be? ' Her wolf giggled again

I reached out and stroked his arm , he started moving , stirring , and then lifted his head. He has dark circles under his eyes. Man he does look tired. How can he look this bad from just one day? " Hi. " McKenna whispered to Alpha Azeo offering him a shy smile. " Hi back at you. You are eventually awake. " Alpha Azeo replied offering McKenna a smile. " Eventually? How long was I out for? " McKenna asked confused , rubbing the back of her head. " Well. . ." Alpha Azeo started but then stopped as he stretched himself out and rubbed his hands over his face. " You were out for about four days. " Alpha Azeo replied. " Before you stress yourself out , doc said it's only because of the events that took place and your body needed some time to recover from the stress. " Alpha Azeo said again. " You still need to rest when you get discharged , he said that will be when you wake up , so I assume it's today. I already got you a room ready at the pack house so you will have your own space to rest stress free. " Alpha Azeo continued. " I just don't know how that will be possible since you are a Blood shifter. " Alpha Azeo continued again. ' He knows. ' McKenna's wolf said in her head , starting to pace around. McKenna suddenly started to hyperventilate. " You can relax little wolf , I am on your side. I'm just going to need you to be open and honest with me. " Alpha Azeo continued.

"O-Okay , what do want to know? " McKenna asked. " Let's start with what you are hiding from me. " Alpha Azeo replied , his smile gone , no emotion on his face. ' Oh crap , he's mad. ' McKenna's wolf said again.

" I uh , Uhm , okay , my wolf appeared. He didn't want to say anything because I didn't even know what I was , she is trying to enlighten me on my predicament but she herself also don't have all the answers , she only knows that I am , that we , me and her , are a Blood shifter. " McKenna eventually said. I'm not going to tell him about the voices , he is going to think that I am bat s**t crazy. McKenna thought to herself.
