-Blair The next morning I woke up to the sounds of children laughing downstairs. Slowly I walked out of my room and down the hall. Alex was already up and no longer in his room. I moved down the stairs and into the front room to find Alex along with Mandy’s children in the living room, all piled on top of the guy she left with last night. He was a big guy with thick black hair that covered his head and face. He looked like what you would expect to see if someone said he was a mountain man. One of the kids yelled, “get him,” and they all pounced again, knocking the big guy over onto the floor as he yelled, “mercy,” all of them giggling.
