I rushed to get packed, had the children ready, and then made doubly sure I did not leave anything behind. I could not believe how fast I had accumulated so much stuff. The children had a lot of clothing, and soon, I had two boxes full of items to donate to a charity clothing shop. I had asked if the hospital had a need, but they do not do that sort of thing; a nurse offered to take them to the local charity and donate them on my behalf.
I stood back out of the way as I watched Bob be loaded into his vehicle. I was interested in how they were going to secure him safely before I climbed into mine, and soon, we were on our way to the palace.
It was a place that would change my life. I was afraid of that change, how it would change Bob and the children, and how I would suddenly go
