Dean opened his eyes slowly pushing back the pain one eye at a time, the back of his head throbbed in pain. Pain shot through his back as he tried to get up from the floor and his vision blurred slightly.
His hand went to the back of his head and sticky and almost dried blood coated his fingers, he dragged himself up to a sitting position and he studied his environment, he looked behind him and he saw his blood spilled on the ground where he rose from. He looked forward and he saw Kris's car parked on the side of the road, the car doors were left ajar.
