Chapter 42

1469 Words

DAVIS Our grandfather's death hit us differently. It left us with scars in our hearts. However, it hurt my grandmother more and we're really worried about her. She hasn't been herself ever since and all efforts by our parents to make her live with them has borne no fruits. She's quite devastated and she prefers to stay all alone thinking. She hasn't been eating well and we're all worried about her health. It's now two weeks since the old man passed on and it hasn't been a walk in the pack. Most of the times Dylan, Melody and I go to visit her but she refuses to come out of her room. We're mostly forced to get into her room and we always find her clutching the tin which has grandpa's ashes. We're already out of options and we don't know what to do with her! It's on a Friday morning
