Jason “What the f**k?” The icy voice cut through the air, instantly freezing the blood in my veins. I scrambled out from under Victoria so fast I nearly tripped over the edge of the rug, my breath coming in ragged gasps. The raw passion vanished, replaced by a cold wave of absolute dread. I hurriedly began buttoning my ruined shirt, my fingers shaking so badly I could barely align the fabric.
