Chapter 87 Summer Solstice - June - 3,390 BC Earth: Village of Assur NINSIANNA The first light of dawn shot through skylight, turned golden by the grain-dust as it radiated downward to shine upon the ancient clay statue who sat upon her pedestal. Ninsianna waited with awed anticipation. Exuberant. Fearful… Outside the temple, jubilant wooden horns announced the arrival of longest day of the year. "Now?" she whispered.
